This year’s interactive online conference will bring together leading presenters from across the United States and internationally to share current research and clinical perspectives in stuttering, cluttering, and atypical disfluency. Sessions will explore a range of topics, including the multifactorial Mini-KIDS approach for children, the clinical implications of how stuttering intersects with language and executive functioning across the lifespan, current evidence supporting stuttering as a neurodevelopmental disorder, affective and cognitive components of stuttering and cluttering, stutter-affirming approaches to speech change, and therapy for word-final disfluencies. A cluttering panel will further deepen understanding of lived experience. Presentations will emphasize clinical decision-making and a deeper understanding of underlying processes, supporting holistic, individualized, and client-centered care.
This intermediate-level course is designed to support clinicians in expanding their clinical critical thinking and strengthening their ability to provide evidence-based care for children and adults who stutter, clutter, or experience other fluency differences.
Registration is now open, with the opportunity to earn up to 1.0 ASHA CEUs. All sessions will be recorded and available to view until June 21st at 5:00 pm ET, except for the cluttering panel, which will be offered live only.
The American Board of Stuttering, Cluttering, and Fluency Disorders will submit CEU hours to ASHA within 45 days of the conference. To be eligible for ASHA CEUs, participants must:
- Attend live sessions on June 7 and/or June 8 or view recorded sessions.
- Complete the learning assessment along with the overall event survey by June 21, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to complete your Zoom registration. Once registered, you will be able to add the event to your calendar and access the session details.
